    Foreign Tai Chi Practitioners Visit Mount Emei

    Eight Tai Chi practitioners from Russia visited Baoguo Temple at Mount Emei on September 19th. They showed strong enthusiasm whilst learning about Chinese culture and Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art style and a intangible cultural heritage. Every year, Mount Emei receives many foreign practitioners.

    Emei Martial Art Presented at Fuquanshan International Martial Arts Event

    The Fuquanshan International Martial Arts Event started on Friday, September 15 in Guizhou province. Representatives of the Emei, Wudang, Shaolin, and Qingcheng styles were invited. Fist style practitioners from Hebei, Guangdong and Zhejiang also attend the event.

    Emei sect of martial arts

    It was the morning of an early autumn day. Qiao Zhengquan, an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage Emei Sect of Martial Arts, showed up at the Baoguo Temple of Emei Mountain, Sichuan as usual. Here, amid the crisp cool air and bathed in the rays of the morning sun, Qiao and his students practiced the martial arts.
