Hot Spring
In the ancient time, when Buddhist pilgrims worship Buddha in Mt. Emei, they would take back some “holy water”. The local peasants used the water to wash their faces, bodies, as well as cure diseases and wounds every day. Radon hot spring has not been discovered until the geological prospecting team dug a 3000-meter hot spring during their work in 1990s. Later, local people developed the hot spring into an important recreation project.

Hongzhushan Hot Spring is from the cyclic warming confined hot spring which is 3000-meter deep under the ground of Lianghekou of Mt. Emei and has a history of over 2000 years. The main body of Hot Spring Happy Valley is Lingxiu Hot Spring, which comes out from Qingyin Pavilion halfway up the hill.
