Mount Emei Welcomes Its First Snowfall This Year

Mount Emei saw its first snowfall in 2018 following the New Year holiday. The snowfall which lasted for approximately five days saw the snow depth at the Jieyin Temple reach at least ten centimeters.

During the New Year festivities, the mountainous scenic spot received nearly 60 thousand tourists- a 16% increase compared with the same time last year.

Soon Emei- a UNESCO World Heritage site will launch a slide way to attract more tourists.
