Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed railway to start operation

The Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed railway will start operation on September 30. It will reduce the travel time between the two cities to four hours.

In order to better serve tourists from Xi'an and its nearby region, the city of Leshan, where Mount Emei is located, set up a marketing center in Xi'an on August 30. The center has designed various travel routines catering to the demands of Xi'an tourists.

In Leshan, tourists can visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, Mount Emei, Heizhu Valley and enjoy nice food like Qiaojiao Beef, Bobo Chicken and sweet duck.

The train will also make it more convenient for Xi'an tourists to travel to Chengdu within one day and enjoy hotpot and the hot spring in Mount Emei.
