E San Qi

E San Qi is a specialty of Mt. Emei, growing at 1700-2700 meters high in the bush or bamboo groves in Jiulao Cave (Nine Elders Cave) and Seven-Li Slope. Its actions include resolving blood stasis, stopping bleeding, eliminating swelling and alleviating pain.It is good at treating hemoptysis, haematemesis, epistaxis, hematochezia, metrorrhagia, metrostaxis, traumatic bleeding, stabbing pains in chest and abdomen and traumatic pain and swelling. It should be noted that as E San Qi is warm in nature, those who are suffering from bleeding and deficiency in Yin and feel dry in the mouth, should take it with other medicine that can increase Yin and cool the blood.
