Snow-Preserved Konjac

Snow-preserved konjac is also a specialty of Mt. Emei, which is made from the tuber of a perennial plant, Konjac. It is soft, fresh, delicious but not greasy. Before cooking, it should be soaked until it becomes spongy, and then be sliced after the water being drained off. Added with condiments, it can be mixed with other ingredients or used for braised chicken or duck. As an ideal gift, snow-preserved konjac is sold in Mt. Emei Tourism Product Center, supermarkets or drugstores.
